Current Track Plan

This page will show the latest and greatest track plan.So here it is:

Notes

I'm aware that a plan is rarely final. And I already know that the layout won't be built exactly as shown here.

A note on the operation: trains will enter the layout from left to right. On the prototype, trains bound for Wicomico come of the main line and connect to the section represented by the layout to the left of the W.T. Burnett area. The track terminates at the end of the street (near the area I've designated "Storage"). So, nothing will ever connect there on the layout.

  1. I actually happened upon Wicomico St. this month while researching Baltimore prototypes, and I think I'm going to be building it as well. However, my rendition will be set in the 1950s. I hope we can collaborate on research somewhat, because we can both benefit from it.

    1. It's been a very long time since I checked in here. Did you build your version?

  2. How do plan to stage your layout? Is there a spot on the layout the train will start or a drop leaf/cassette that is not on the plan?

    1. I had a 1x4 plank about 8 feet long that I attached to the end of the layout when I operated.
